The warmer temperatures have people thinking about their summer vacations, and Frommer’s is out with a list of the top 10 getaways in Canada.
The Calgary Stampede centennial makes the list, as well as the train ride across the Rockies.
Outside the province, the guide suggests driving the Alaska Highway through northern B.C. and the Yukon, hiking along Lake O’Hara in Yoho National Park, and snorkeling with Beluga whales in Churchill, Manitoba.
For music lovers, the Montreal Jazz Festival is a top pick, and if you love golfing, Frommer’s points you to courses in Prince Edward Island.
Other picks include seeing the sand sculptures in Parksville, B.C., taking in world-class theatre in Stratford, Ontario and hunting for icebergs in Newfoundland.
