Pedestrian struck and killed

McKnight Boulevard is closed until further notice following the death of a pedestrian.
Police say the person died after being hit by a vehicle in the 5800 block of McKnight around 3:30 a.m.
Duty Inspector Shawn Wallace tells 660News the road will be shut down for several hours.
“Our district units will contain the scene until our traffic investigators and reconstruction team arrive and from there they will piece together witness statements as well as a physical exam at the scene.”
McKnight is shut down in both directions between 52nd and 68th Streets northeast until further notice.
