As the Transportation Safety Board tries to figure out what went wrong in Saturday’s tragic mid-air collision in Saskatchewan, more details are coming out about the victims from Alberta.
Those on board the Piper P-A-28, which was traveling from near Calgary to St. Brieux, were Eric Donovan, his 11-year-old son Wade and their friend Denny Loree, who was the pilot and all three lived near Mossleigh.
Donovan lived with his wife and four children including Wade and he was heading to Saskatchewan to pick up some farm equipment when it collided with the amphibious plane.
The Herald reports Loree was a husband and father of an adult son, with more than 1,000 hours of flying experience.
The identities of the victims from the other plane, a man and woman, have not been revealed.
