Ten Calgarians, along with a pint sized coach, are raising funds for a great cause with a series of activities at Camp Kindle.
Jill Belland of CityTv’s Breakfast Television is among those taking part in the annual High Hopes Challenge.
C.E.O. of Kids Cancer Care, Christina McIver says each of the 10 participants will be paired up with child who leads them through the events.
“They each are matched with a kid coach, who is a childhood cancer survivor. The whole idea of the event is to have the kid coaches put their challengers through one week of camp in one day.”
The goal is $100,000. The funds will help send children affected by cancer to camp.
