A woman is alive today because of the fast actions of fellow passengers getting off a plane at the airport.
The woman was coming down an escalator Thursday night when she passed out and a group of people immediately began CPR until emergency crews arrived.
Stuart Brideaux with EMS said they saved her life.
“Undoubtedly the early intervention of CPR and even recognizing that it was a cardiac emergency made most of the difference in this instance,” he said.
Brideaux added this is an important example of when regular citizens will have to put their first aid and CPR skills to the test.
