A 10-year-old girl is in serious but stable condition in the Alberta Children’s Hospital after being struck by an SUV in the northeast Monday.
The collision happened near Beddington Cir. and Beddington Dr. around 2:15 p.m., said EMS spokesman Stuart Brideaux.
“It was a relatively high-mechanism collision. She was fully struck by the vehicle, unfortunately,” said Brideaux. “Fortunately, our EMS crews were very, very quick to the scene and were able to get access to her very, very quickly.”
Beddington Dr. was closed to allow police to investigate.
