Man sent to hospital after possible assault

A man has been taken to hospital in life-threatening condition after a possible assault in the city’s southwest.

According to police, the suspected attack happened sometime before 11:00 p.m. Wednesday night in the 1500 block of 6th St. S.W.

There are no details yet on the injured man, other than he has been taken to hospital and police are trying to figure out what happened who else was involved.

It’s not clear what the victim’s injuries are, as police interview witnesses.
