Suspect in hit and run questioned

Some closure could be coming for an Alberta family grieving the loss of their 10-year-old daughter.

Police reportedly have a suspect in custody in connection with the May 3rd hit-and-run that claimed the life of Eleasha Wesley along the TransCanada Highway near Valley Ridge Boulevard.

A witness followed the suspect the night of the crash and got a license plate number and vehicle description.

The van believed to be involved in the crash was seized from a home on the Morley Reserve, the same reserve Eleasha was from.

The Calgary Sun reports the suspect was brought in for questioning Tuesday.
