CP workers stage protest march

Around 300 Canadian Pacific workers marched from the CPR Aylth yard to Gulf Canada Square Saturday morning.
The walk is part of the ongoing conflict between the Teamsters Union representing some 4,800 striking railway employees and Canadian Pacific.
Darrel Sundholm with Teamsters Canada tells 660News they won’t agree to any negotiation that sees a decrease in their pension because a majority of workers don’t collect the company’s maximum pension now.
Sundholm says back-to-work-legislation would be the worst thing for both sides because workers will just be back striking again in the fall.
