Calgary Police are looking for a man who approached a mother and her young daughter on their walk home from school.
Duty Inspector Darren Leggatt tells 660News, just after 2 p.m. Friday afternoon, the mom and her 5 year-old daughter were approached by a man who got out of his car on 14th Avenue and 52 Street Southeast.
“This person said something of an unknown nature to the 5 year old girl. The mere casual nature of the approach and the fact that the unknown male had approached her young daughter, at this point in time the mom confronted the man, who immediately ran back to his car and drove off”
Officers circled the area once responding to the call but were unable to locate the man
He is described as white, between 20 and 30 years of age, tall, with a slim build, dark brown hair, and wearing a tan coloured hoodie.
