75 per cent of Albertans in debt

Albertans are making an extra effort to pay down debt.
A new CIBC poll shows more than half of all Albertans holding debt made at least one extra payment to bring down their balances in the last year.
Those who are making extra payments are typically focusing on credit card and line of credit balances.
The poll finds 75 per cent of Alberta residents hold some form of debt.
