Last day for MLA’s before summer break

It’s the final day for MLA’s in Edmonton before the legislature breaks for the summer.
The six-day sitting was highlighted by the introduction of Bill 1.
It gives first responders, like EMS and police, the ability to be covered for post-traumatic stress disorder under worker’s compensation.
The shortened session was the first under the new government voted into office in late April.
