Arson charges laid after string of downtown vehicle fires

A 29-year-old Calgary man has been charged in connection to the string of vehicle arsons earlier this week.

Between Monday and Tuesday, a Volvo,  a Land Rover, and a Dodge Ram truck were set on fire downtown.  

Tuesday, police believe they saw someone light a piece of paper on fire and put it into a Canada Post mail box.  The man was arrested and questioned.

Raymond Anthony Bernard  has been charged with five counts of arson causing property damage.
