City offering help with property taxes

The City of Calgary is offering a tax assistance program, which provides a grant to low income homeowners grappling with an increase in their property tax from 2011 to 2012.

Everyone is eligible to apply.

Besides offering financial help, the program also connects homeowners to other government initiatives where they can get more aid.
