Four kittens are doing just fine after someone tossed them in the trash at a recycling plant.
Employees at Recycling Worx Solutions Inc., just east of Calgary, found the four little felines in one of their bins last Thursday. The bin had come from the city’s northwest.
Since then, they’ve been cared for by one of the employees.
Jay Jorgensen tells the Calgary Sun, he can’t fathom why anyone would want to do that to an animal.
The owner of company says this is the third time within the last year they’ve rescued live kittens from one of their bins.
Animals can always be surrendered without penalty at any of the rescue organizations including the Calgary Humane Society.
