Crews work to get boil water advisory lifted

Three north west communities in Calgary continue to boil water as city crews work to get it in drinkable condition again.
City spokesperson Chris Huston says Nolan Hill, Sage Hill and Kincora are still under a boil water advisory because there are a lot of lines to flush
“So we had this turbidity problem and we need to flush it out of our system, so it’s a step by step process, very methodically flushing each individual pipe in each community and that takes some time to accomplish,” said Huston.
He says after that, crews have to sample and test the water before the advisory is lifted.
