Beltline beating suspects have charges upgraded

The charges against three people accused in a brutal beating in the Beltline have been upgraded from aggravated assault to attempted murder.

27-year-old Chantelle Tiffany Campbell, 26-year-old Garrett Elliott Lee Smith and 22-year-old Jarod Donald Henry are facing the charge connected to the May 23rd beating of John Fernando Herrera.

Herrera is still recovering in hospital and his some members of his family are still on their way to Calgary.
