The city’s street cleanup is done, one month ahead of schedule.
The project is usually finished around the first week of July, but city officials say mild weather has helped crews get a head start on the tidying process.
Street crews removed 50,000 tons of winter sanding materials and other debris left over from the winter, which is used for daily cover at the landfills.
Ongoing road maintenance and sweeping will continue throughout the summer.
