Record-setting Stampede ticket sales

Stampede event tickets are selling out in record time.

Premium seating manager for The Calgary Stampede, Ken Knight, tells The Calgary Herald four grandstand venues sold out two weeks ago.

He says this is the fastest the tickets for the 30X Saloon, the private infield suites, the Lazy S and Ranahan’s Private Club – with a combined capacity of 3,400 per day – have been snapped up.

Knight attributes the hype surrounding the centennial as the reason demand has been so high.
