Calgary Book Sale profits down so far

Two weekends into the 10th Annual Calgary Book Sale and organizers are still waiting for an increase in sales.
They’ve brought in about $190,000 dollars so far, which is a far cry from the $300,000 they recorded in 2010.
Fewer repeat customers may be the problem but attendance overall is down, according to organizers.
The sale is held at the Crossroads Market at Blackfoot Trail and Ogden Road S.E.
It runs 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday to Sunday; admission to the tent is $2.
All sales support the Servants Anonymous Society of Calgary and The Calgary Herald literacy programs.
