No go for Bow River Flow

Don’t expect the annual ‘Bow River Flow’ this year.
According to The Calgary Sun, organizers didn’t submit an application to the city and have taken down their website.
The event celebrated the Bow River and shut down Memorial Drive for an afternoon in August to encourage people to use other modes of transportation like biking and walking.
Organizers launched an ‘Open Streets Calgary’ website that says they’ll continue their cause at other festivals this summer.
