A man in his 30s underwent emergency surgery Saturday following what police are calling a targeted home invasion.
Duty Insp. Paul Stacey tells 660News at around 8 a.m., in the 200 block of Shaw Meadows Rd. S.W., three masked men burst into a home and stabbed the man, leaving him in serious condition.
“We have a number of witnesses to interview; people inside the home at the time, as well as the victim, once he’s out of surgery,” says Stacey.
Police sent out the Canine Unit to try to find the three suspects, but they got away.
So far, there’s no word on the motive or whether anything was taken from the home.
