Man in stable condition after getting stabbed in Bowness

It is not clear if an attack was targeted, after a stabbing in the community of Bowness.
Emergency crews received a call from the 4600 block of 20th Ave., N.W. and found the victim around 3:15 p.m. Thursday.
EMS’ Stuart Brideaux said when they arrived they found the 25-year-old suffering from a stab wound to his chest.
He was taken to hospital in serious, but non-life threatening condition and after surgery, is now stable.
Duty Inspector Jim Stinson said no one is in custody and police are talking with a number of witnesses who were on the scene.
