Burn Treatment Society kicks off summer campaign

The Calgary Firefighter’s Burn Treatment Society has kicked off their 2012 summer fundraising campaign.

Until August, the Donor Development and Awareness Campaign hopes to raise funds, primarily through telefundriasing.

But, Calgary firefighters are also targetting the ladies of the city and will be holding “Ladies Nights Out” as well as selling the annual “Hotstuff” calendar throughout the summer.

In recent years, $6-million has been raised for upgrades and training for staff for the specialized Burn Unit at Foothills Hospital.

The Calgary Firefighter’s Burn Treatment Society is a registered non-profit charity organization, supported by over 1,000 Calgary firefighters.
