Canada Day fun in Calgary

There are plenty of Canada Day activities planned in Calgary for July 1st, everything from a human flag to a festival of food.
Start your day by becoming part of Calgary’s first living flag at the Enmax stage at Prince’s Island Park between 10:15 – 11:30 in the morning, the flag will sing the chorus of singing of ‘O Canada at 11:30.
After that, head on down to Olympic Plaza for Calgary Eats! from noon to six where you can get your hands on fresh fruits, cheeses, and baked goods, check out some food trucks and teach your little ones how to plant veggies.
The East Village Street Fair on 8th street se featuring food, crafts and music.
End your day by taking in the fireworks from the Centre Street bridge.
