You can include Bust Loose among the local companies in for the long haul during the week and a half of the Calgary Stampede.
For 25 years the company has run pub crawls during The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth.
Company spokesman Spencer Wallace tells 660News about half their clients are from out of town, and the numbers for the party experience are staggering.
“This is our biggest year ever with the 100th anniversary,” says Wallace. “We have over 5,000 people on our first weekend right now coming. And over 2,000 on our second weekend and we are still selling tickets.”
“We have over 100 busses each day,” adds Wallace of how the cliente will move around the city during its pub crawl experience. “We have folks coming in from Australia, the UK, Ireland, the United States, all over Canada. We even have a couple of people coming from Japan.
And guys, listen up!
“We’ve actually got a group of eight girls coming in from Australia,” Wallace continues. “We usually do pretty good. We get two or three Aussies coming in at one time. But this year, especially the Commonwealth countries are showing huge interest.”
For visitors from out of town, the packages include accomodations as well as Stampede events and special parties.
The packages range in price. For locals, there are still tickets available for as little as $45.
