Rafters were warned before deadly flip

The rafters who were rescued from Harvie Passage were personally warned by police not to go on the Bow River before they lost a member of their group to the deadly current.
Their raft flipped at about 4:15 p.m. on Monday, killing 44-year-old Brad Kuhl.
Now the victim’s nephew, Nick, is speaking out.
He tells The Calgary Sun his uncle was in a calm stretch of the river after the flip, but turned back to look for a friend who he didn’t see come to the surface.
The three others who were rafting with Kuhl survived.
