When you’re watching the Stampede fireworks, you may also want to look at the top of the Calgary Tower which will be lit every night of the centennial celebration.
Lighting the flame is a rare tribute, in any given year only ten or fewer events are significant enough to warrant its lighting.
The Calgary Tower flame will be lit between 10:45 and 11:45 p.m. nightly.
The most identifiable landmark in the city, the 191-metre Calgary Tower offers a view of the city, mountains, and prairies.
