Rodeo wows first-time attendees

Thousands are braving the heat and sun to watch the Calgary Stampede rodeo; many for the very first time.
The spectators taking in the event range in age and background, but 660News discovered quite a number of spectators are from overseas.
“It’s better than on TV. I’ve seen it a few times, but really, it’s great,” says Max, who came to the Stampede from Germany.
“I’m from Scotland so I’ve never really seen anything like this in my entire life. It’s really fun and great to watch,” says Sheila.
Another man sums it up as “the greatest rodeo on Earth.”
