Shaw building fire still impacting AHS and communications customers

Shaw crews continue to work at restoring full service to all its business and consumer phone customers following a fire at the company’s headquarters in downtown Calgary Wednesday afternoon.

Executives say they are on schedule, or ahead of schedule, in getting them completed.

Meanwhile, elective surgeries scheduled for Friday in Calgary have been postponed as the blaze affected Alberta Health Services computers.

AHS hopes to have everything back to normal by Saturday, including elective surgeries.
