The Calgary Fire Department is reminding people that an advisory is still in effect against any boating activities on the Bow and Elbow rivers.
Crews say there is an increase in water being released from the dam upstream of the city and more rain is in the forecast.
Officials are also warning against using Harvie Passage until further notice unless you are an experienced kayaker.
They say river conditions can change quickly and people need to anticipate that.
