Camping equipment needed for local charities

Calling all campers! If you have gently used gear you’re looking to get rid of, Campers Village wants it.

From Thursday, July 19 until Tuesday, July 24, the Campers Village on Macleod Trail is accepting donations on behalf of a couple of local charities.

The Boys and Girls Club of Airdrie and Easter Seals Camp Horizon give kids a chance to experience camping, who may not otherwise be able to afford it.

According to The Calgary Sun, as an added incentive for those who donate, the company is offering a chance to win one of four prize packs to the Calgary Folk Music Festival.
