As fire investigators continue to look through the mess from Sunday’s blaze in the northeast community of Coventry Hills, the firefighters’ union is putting more pressure on officials to beef up crews.
Union President, Mark Faires, says no matter how long it takes crews to get on scene, they could use more firefighters to help turn nozzles, hook things up and help with the rescue.
However, Battalion Chief Al Magwood tells The Calgary Herald he thinks there were enough crews and equipment to adequately respond to the weekend fire.
