Large drug bust in Red Deer

16 people in Red Deer have reportedly been charged with a variety of drug related offences as a result of an extensive investigation into drug distribution and organized crime.
It’s believed the investigation and subsequent charges have disrupted two local chapters of nationally identified organized crime groups operating within the City of Red Deer.
Both crime groups have gang members that have recently relocated to Red Deer.
These organized crime groups are allegedly responsible for numerous violent crimes within the City of Red Deer including: robberies, kidnappings, shootings, and assaults.
