Neighbour jumps in to help with N.E. fire

It’s not the normal way to meet a neighbour, but one man in the northeast says he didn’t think twice about rushing to help a family as their home was burning.
Emerson Gonzalez moved into a home on Covewood Park with his family two days before a fire broke out across the street Sunday that ravaged two homes and damaged a third.
He tells The Calgary Sun he was unpacking in his garage when he was alerted to the blaze, grabbed his fire extinguisher and rushed to help.
He says all he could think about was “what if there are children inside.”
