The staff at the Stageline Saloon say their normally quiet tavern was flooded with “drunk cowboys” the night a Calgary Flames prospect allegedly pushed a man to the ground.
Left-winger Micheal Ferland was charged with assault for an incident outside the Cochrane bar on June 29th, 2012. Bar manager Lyndie Sundby tells The Calgary Herald the night was “madness” and bouncers worked hard to keep the crowd under control.
Ferland says he’s innocent of the charges and will appear in court on September 4th, 2012.
