Man charged with sexual assault

A 47-year old man has been charged following two disturbing incidents in the city’s southeast.
During both cases, the crimes were committed by a man riding a bike.
On July 10th, a woman was approached by a man riding a bicycle along 28th Street and 9th Avenue southeast and as the suspect rode past her, he grabbed her breast.
Then over two weeks later, the man, who was naked from the waist down, circled a woman on his bike repeatedly before grabbing her arm.
47-year old Glenn Stegmeier was arrested without incident near Radcliffe Drive while riding a bike.
Geoff Gawlinski says Stegmeier used certain areas to find victims.
Stegmeier is charged with one count of sexual assault, one count of assault and one count of committing an indecent act in a public place.
Gawlinski says additional police forces were deployed, including members in plainclothes to arrest Stegmeier.
