3rd court appearance for Kloschinski

The Priddis man charged with first degree murder in the weekend death of a Foothills peace officer appeared in a Calgary courtroom Wednesday, his third appearance in as many days.

Trevor Kloschinski is in the process of retaining a lawyer and just prior to his court appearance Wednesday, the accused met with a doctor.

Prosecutors say a mental fitness assessment is not expected despite his odd behaviour during previous appearances.

He will face a judge again on Monday, to set a date for a preliminary inquiry.
