Baumgartner back in Edmonton court

The Alberta man accused in the shooting deaths of three fellow armoured car guards is back in an Edmonton court.

Travis Baumgartner is charged with first degree murder, attempted murder and robbery with a firearm.

Police say the 21-year-old was one of five armed guards loading bank machines at the University of Alberta on June 15.

Three guards died at the scene while a fourth survived bullet wounds to the head.

Baumgartner fled the scene with weapons and cash and was arrested near the U.S. border near Abbotsford just less than a week later.
