Worker in hospital after taking a fall in the southwest

A man in his 20s is in hospital after falling six to eight metres at a southwest job site.
Adam Loria with Calgary EMS said the worker fell from a second storey window at a home under construction on 21st Street and 27th Avenue just before 9:00 a.m.
“We were able to stabilize the patient,” he said. “Unfortunately this patient was somewhat trapped inside this house, given his injuries, wasn’t able to walk out.”
The Calgary Fire Department was brought in to assist with the extrication.
There is no word yet on the extent of the workers injuries.
Occupational Health and safety is investigating the accident in Marda Loop.
