Alberta Health Services has hired consulting firm Ernst and Young to audit several more expenses claimed by executives and board members.
The audit could include former Capital Health CEO Sheila Weatherill and current ethics commissioner Neil Wilkinson.
The move comes weeks after former Health Services Chief Allaudin Merali was let go over controversy he claimed thousands of dollars on lavish meals, bottles of wine and a phone for his Mercedes.
The audit will focus on the fiscal years between 2005 and 2009.
Results will be sent to the auditor general, health ministry and released to the public.
