Senior carjacked

A plea from police for help in their investigation of a brazen day time robbery and car-jacking at knife point of a Calgary senior.
It happened in a Zellers parking lot on 17th Avenue and 52nd Street S.E. August 15th.
A woman pulled a knife on the 89 year-old victim and demand he drive her to a remote industrial area after taking $800 cash he’d just withdrawn.
The victim says she also had a gun.
Police are concerned about having such a subject at large with a propensity for violence, especially someone preying on the elderly.
It happened at 3:30 in the afternoon of August 15th.
The suspect is a black woman in her 20’s, slim and about 6 feet tall.
The victim returned to the scene Tuesday to help police try to drum up help from the public who may have seen his attacker.
