Funeral set for Dover shooting victim

A funeral will be held this weekend for the woman shot and killed in Dover on Friday.

Visitation for Amy Sands will take place at the Snodgrass Funeral Home in Okotoks from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday.

A celebration of Amy’s life will also take place the following day at the Foothills Centennial Centre.

Police believe Sands, the daughter of an Okotoks councillor, was not the intended target of the shooting that killed her Friday.

Jesse George Hill, 26, is charged with second degree murder in her death.
