A man in his 40’s is facing a number of charges following a lengthy standoff in the northwest community of Valley Ridge.
Police were called to a home on Valley Brook Circle N.W. Wednesday afternoon, after reports of a man shooting a pellet gun.
Duty Inspector Darren Leggatt tells 660News around 2:30 a.m. Thursday police forced his hand and the man gave up.
“With the assistance of our tactical unit, we were able to garner this person’s attention and he surrendered to us,” Leggatt says.
More information about the standoff and details about the outstanding warrants the suspect is wanted on are expected to be released later today.
