Heirloom wedding ring returned to grieving husband after break and enter

It’s a happy ending to a heart wrenching story.
A Calgary man, who made a plea to have his stolen wedding ring returned, now has it back.
Police have recovered the ring, a family heirloom, and returned it to single father Aaron Klett.
“My family and I are extremely happy to have our stolen items returned, and we are very thankful to the Calgary Police Service for their hard work in the trenches of this investigation. Without their dedication to this case, we would just be another statistic,” said Klett in a media statement.
Klett says the return of the items is absolutely priceless to them.
The 100-year-old heirloom and a laptop computer containing family photographs were stolen during the break in Haysboro on August 30.
Some of those photos were of Klett’s late wife.
Calgary Police say they found the ring at a gold purchasing stall in the northeast.
Police have also recovered other stolen jewellery from other thefts in Shawnee Slopes and Varsity.
Four young offenders now face various charges of break and enter.
