An annual competition is back, offering up a chance for groups and communities to win funding.
The Aviva Community Fund will dole out a total of a million dollars to dozens of organizations who need it most.
Glenn Cooper with Aviva tells 660News, they funded some great ideas last year.
“Anywhere from playgrounds for elementary schools, since we all know government funding’s been cut, to a camp for kids affected by illness out in Prince Edward Island, to a bear rescue facility in Smithers, B.C.,” says Cooper.
The winners will be chosen at the end of January.
Canadians can access the competition and vote at AvivaCommunityFund.org and Facebook.
