Iran warns against travel to Canada

Iranian officials are now cautioning their citizens not to travel to Canada, saying they’ll face expulsion, arrest, and even murder.
The National Post reports Iran’s foreign ministry issued a statement Wednesday warning that the Canadian government is encouraging an anti-Iranian atmosphere.
The statement is the latest shot at Canada since our country pulled its diplomatic relations out of Tehran.
Canadian government officials walked out before Iran’s leader was scheduled to speak at the U.N. General Assembly on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Stephen Harper issued a statement, reiterating his belief that Iran is the world’s greatest threat to global peace and security.
