Calgarians will flood the streets in pink today, for the annual CIBC Run for the Cure.
The walk and run is the biggest, single-day fundraiser for breast cancer research.
Two-time survivor Diane Martin, a run volunteer, tells 660News that people often dress up and have some fun and it’s good for all ages.
“There was one gentleman last year who ran the whole course in a dress and heels so if he can do it anyone can it,” she says.
The event begins at 9am at the Southcentre Mall.
