Calgary housing prices on the rise

Calgary house prices outside of condos posted nice price gains in the third quarter.

Royal LePage reports the price of a detached bungalow in our city shot up by more than six per cent in the past three months.

Year over year prices for a standard two-storey home are up just over four per cent.

However, the price of a standard condominium dropped by about two per cent.

Realtor Ted Zaharko says despite recent changes to mortgage lending rules, Calgary’s real estate market was very active in the third quarter.
