Interview: John Wright on Army Reservist Recognition Day

You may be surprised to notice a colleague arrive at the office on Wednesday (Oct. 3), wearing a military uniform, but if they do, go ahead and offer congratulations and thanks for their contribution to Canada’s armed forces.

You may not be aware, but it is likely that someone you work with is a civilian member of Canada’s reserve force, and they have been encouraged to wear the uniform in recognition of the first Army Reservist Recognition Day (Oct. 3), proclaimed by the Government of Canada and the Department of National Defence.

Political affairs specialist John Stall spoke to John Wright, who chairs the Wounded Warriors Association, about the contribution of Canada’s reserve force.
